Use recycled materials to make your own collection of prints. Collagraphy is the original recycling technique that uses card, textures and materials collaged together to make versatile plates that can be printed as intaglio or relief. The results from this printmaking technique always produce rich ‘sculptured’ surfaced prints. In the first session you will learn how to prepare and coat a card collagraph plate using different collage techniques and materials. In following sessions you will learn to make prints from your collagraph plate using intaglio and relief methods. You may go on to make more plates having learned how.
