Collect Call is a dream pop project hailing from the vibrant coastal city of Brighton, England, led by multi-instrumentalist Joseph Thorpe. After years playing in Psyche Rock groups in Brighton and London, Joseph took matters into his own hands and began writing dreamy acoustic songs that later he experimented on using drum machines and budget synthesisers. Inspired by the likes of Andy Shauf, The Flaming Lips and Paul McCartney’s solo material, Collect Call’s music has a dreamlike quality, blending elements of shoegaze, indie rock, and pop to create a sound that is both romantic and otherworldly. Currently, Joseph is working on his third EP, set to be released at the end of this year. This upcoming project is a collaborative effort, featuring musicians from across the thriving Brighton music scene.
