Singers from across Nottinghamshire and beyond are invited to join us for our annual Come and Sing. Led by Festival Director Marcus Farnsworth, we will come together to sing Bach's Magnificat in the stunning acoustic of Southwell Minsters Nave. There will be a morning rehearsal followed by an afternoon performance, accompanied by the Festival Sinfonia and soloists from our vocal apprentice scheme. Our popular Come and Sing events are for all ages and abilities. The main aim is to sing together, learn something new, and have some fun along the way! We will be using musical scores, but if you do not read music the pieces can be sent in advance to help with your learning. There are three ticket options: 1. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but please bring your own lunch and snacks. We encourage you to bring reusable water bottles which can be refilled at the venue.
