Come & Sing...The Sound Of Music

The Surrey Hills are alive...with The Sound Of Music!
The Sound of Music hits 60 this year and to celebrate Hazel Hannam (Choir Leader of Soundbytes, SongWorks and The Decibelles) will be leading you in song. Come and learn these beautiful, fun, catchy and well-known tunes composed by Rodgers and Hammerstein back in 1965 and made famous by Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer and their 6 on-screen Von-Trapp children!
Words and music provided, all taught from scratch in 2-parts, upper and lower voices with the help of professional pianist and expert singers to lead each voice group, all under the leadership of Hazel Hannam, who has been running and leading successful community choirs since 2009.
Arrive at 9:45am for a cuppa and registration, then the day will officially begin at 10am.
Bring your own packed lunch. Lunch eaten around tables in the beautiful gardens of Manor House school, under the shade of the gazebos (in the conservatory if it's raining!)
Bring a pencil and rubber to mark the music lightly. Music to be handed back at the end. Music will be available to buy at the end if you wish.
Teas and coffees or cold drinks and biscuits provided throughout the day.
Lots of fun guaranteed!
Final sing-through of all the songs, finishing at 3:30pm
