Copped Hall Open Day

Welcome to Copped Hall for our June Open Day! The mansion and 24 acres of gardens will be open for you to explore. Our Open Days are always bush, with plenty to see and do. There are no guided tours, but Room Stewards in the Mansion will be on hand to answer questions in addition to a short Introductory video in the hall.
You can enjoy lunch as well as the usual home made cakes with a refreshing cup of tea or coffee, and a barbecue hosted by Shaws Butchers of Chingford. There will also be lunches available, the Copped Hall bar, pizza and ice cream vans.
New this year will be opportunity to meet Henry VIII, with his queen Anne Boleyn and her sister Mary, brought to you by Royal Heritage Living History. To to the Tudor King about the time he owned Copped Hall!
Plants, cut flowers and produce will be for sale in the Walled Garden. You can also buy gifts and books in the Copped Hall Gift Shop and Book Stall. Children's entertainer Johnny Slap will be keeping everyone busy with slapstick comedy and various circus skills. We also have the Harmonix Choir and the Chingford Morris Men performing for the second year.
The Friend's desk will be there to deal with any enquiries on the day.
Last entry at 4.00pm. Car Park Gates close at 5.15pm
Tickets bought in advance online are cheaper than tickets bought on the date at entry point. Online sales close at 10pm the night before the event. Cash and cards are accepted on the day.
