Craven Museum Make & Take: Insects

Craven Museum Make & Take: Insects
Free Drop-in Summer is a time for getting outside and exploring nature! This week we’ll be exploring the smaller in habitants of our gardens and outdoor spaces – the minibeasts! Join us at Skipton Town Hall to make your own pooter – a device to catch insects without hurting them allowing you to get a close look at these fascinating creatures. We’ll also be making a range of bug inspired crafts and even have a few insects from the collection for you to have a look at. Donations towards the running of this event gratefully received. There are two drop-in craft sessions. 10am – 12pm 1pm – 3pm Craven Museum Make & Take family crafts have become so popular we have extended each session to allow you to drop-in at any time over the two-hour event. Please be aware that room capacity is limited, you may be asked to have a look round the museum & gallery and come back later in the session. Make and Take will also be taking place at the Mercer Gallery in Harrogate as an all day drop-in from 10:00am – 4:00pm. Find out more about North Yorkshire’s Culture venues
