They both studied at the Liedakademie in 2021/2022 under the artistic direction of Thomas Hampson. At the International Student LiedDuo Competition in 2022, they won both first prize, the Aurora Festival Award and the Prize for the best performance of the verplicated work, June Night by Anne-Maartje Lemereis.
