Folk/Americana singer-songwriterDaisy Chutehas found a loyal following through her award-winning songwriting and gorgeous voice (Guy Garvey, Elbow). 2024 brought with it a GRAMMY award for her involvement in The Birdsong Project , A FATEA award for EP of the Year ( Songs of Solace ) and collaborations with artists such as The Dunwells, Ed Blunt and Lady Nade.
Selling out shows across the UK, mainland Europe and the US, Daisy can be spotted with a guitar or banjo at top arts venues and festivals like Black Deer, Cambridge Folk Festival and Glastonbury. Her debut album of original folk and Americana songs Throne will be released this year.
Recognised as a committed, professional and creative songwriter (Sir Ray Davies, The Kinks), Daisys music features regularly on BBC Radio and television and is also playlisted across thousands of Tesco and Caffe Nero stores around the world.
With an abundance of recording credits, you may have heard Daisys vocals before without even realising. Her background in classical, jazz and folk music has led Daisy to collaborate and contribute to soundtracks ranging from TV favourites like David Attenborough documentaries and the Inspector Morse prequel Endeavour to films like 'Yesterday' and 'Shaun the Sheep' , and game soundtracks like The Sims 4.
You may have heard her backing vocals for iconic band albums such as Radioheads 'A Moon Shaped Pool' , or perhaps you heard her dulcet tones on one of the 3 Platinum-selling, Classical Brit-nominated albums her bandAll Angels released with Universal Records.
When shes not in the studio or touring, Daisy is co-creating musical theatre projects with Rebecca Brewer including Coven a new musical about the Pendle witch trials (due to be premiered this autumn) and The Last Rose of Summer about Jane Austens life for MAST as this years Cameron Mackintosh composers in residence.
