Floater UK were a mainstay of the Sheffield music scene at the turn of the Millenium. Their single, Welcome To My World, as featured on Steve Lamacq's Radio 1 show, was voted Christmas number 2 at Sheffield's much loved Offbeat club night.
Three quarters of Floater UK reformed as Dangerlust, described by the NME as "female fronted dirty rock music with perfect pop choruses...think Elastica, Hole or The Pixies, fronted by an uber cool rock chick".
