We celebrate the 60th anniversary of Dave Brubeck's eternal classic Time Out on the 60th anniversary of it's release. Performing the album live will be his son Darius Brubeck alongside his quartet. Led by the hit single "Take Five," written by alto saxophonist Paul Desmond, Time Out was the first jazz album to sell a million copies. A record made all the more impressive by the fact that it is an entirely original album with no 'standards' on the track list. This is an 18+ event (photo ID required) .
