All Thomas rides are approximately 15 minutes long. What time are the Thomas train rides? Thomas gives his first ride at 9:50, and then every 30 minutes until 15:50. Do I need to book my Thomas ride? Yes, you will need to select your preferred time. One ride is permitted per ticket and you must be on the platform for the train time that you have pre-booked. Can I buy tickets on the day? Please note that advance bookings close at 12:00 noon on the day before the event date. A limited number of tickets will be available to purchase on the day from the Ticket Offices at Ropley and Alton Stations. I am booked onto a later Thomas ride; can I arrive earlier and enjoy all the other activities? YES! All guests are welcome to enjoy all the activities available from 09:30 - 16:30. On arrival, you will be given information about what is taking place each day. Remember that you must be ready to board your Thomas ride at your pre-booked time slot (this is printed on your e-ticket). What time should I plan to arrive? Visitors should arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before their pre-booked Thomas ride time slot (this is printed on your e-ticket). Remember that activities are available from 09:30 until 16:30 for all guests. What does my Day Out with Thomas ticket include? As well as your ride behind Thomas, your ticket includes ALL the activities included in the activity section above, which are all FREE OF CHARGE! Unlimited travel on our big trains from Ropley to Alton starts at 9.45am. Will there be other Thomas & Friends characters at the event? Yes.
