The MULTI AWARD-WINNING ‘The Drama Dept' is back at The Plaza in 2026 with the newly released Dear Evan Hansen. Dear Evan Hansen is a musical about Evan, a socially anxious teenager who gets caught in a lie after a classmate, Connor, dies by suicide. A letter Evan wrote to himself is mistaken for Connor's suicide note, leading everyone to believe they were close friends. As Evan gets drawn deeper into the falsehood, he gains the acceptance and connection he longed for, but eventually must face the truth and its consequences.
