Dear Evan Hansen is a contemporary musical about a socially anxious high school student who becomes caught in a web of lies after a misunderstanding makes him appear to have been close friends with a classmate who has died. As the story unfolds, Evan gains the connection and acceptance he has always wantedbut must ultimately face the truth and the consequences of his actions. The show explores themes of loneliness, mental health, and the human need to be seen and understood, featuring a powerful pop-inspired score.
