Discovery Day – Grappling with grasshoppers!

Whilst hunting for mini-beasts and pond dipping in our Discovery Zone, we'll be focusing on nature's long-jumpers, the grasshoppers.

These long-legged leapers can easily out-jump an Olympian athlete, but there's much more to these captivating insects.
