Absolute Classics welcomes the Northern Film Orchestra to Dumfries for Disney in Concert. Melodies, lifted from the cinema and given the space, power and detail they deserve in the concert hall.

Across the afternoon youll hear favourites from The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and Mulan, alongside the newer classicsFrozen, Coco and The Incredibles.

With orchestra and singers together on stage, its a programme built for instant recognition: the moments you hum without thinking, the themes that still land, however many times youve heard them.

And because this is Absolute Classics, its also about place and opportunity. Three exceptional young local musicians join as guest soloists: Lewis Menzies (tenor), Catriona Arthur (soprano) and Will Archibald (cello).
