Disordered
What happens when you get diagnosed with a personality disorder? Do you hide away and try to keep it a secret or do you write a show about it?  And, as an audience member, where do you fit in? Do you display any of the nine symptoms? You probably do. Then, what does that mean?  An immersive-autobiographical cabaret show, in nine easy steps, to the diagnosis and misunderstanding of a personality that is ‘borderline’. With popular songs like Mad World, The Sound of Silence, Crazy and Losing My Mind. Expect audience participation and sing-alongs.  By award-winning artist, Aletia Upstairs, who brought you Mata Hari, Emballage, A Queer Love of Dix, and Songs My Lovers Didn’t Understand.  “ALETIA GAVE A GREAT PERFORMANCE FULL OF PASSION AND HUMOUR. THE AUDIENCE LOVED IT.” ✭✭✭✭✭ Patrick Harrington (Counter Culture) “A STRONG PERFORMANCE THAT INCLUDES ATTRACTIVE AND EVOCATIVE SINGING.” ✭✭✭✭ – Gerald Berkowitz (Theatre Guide London)  “A QUALITY PIECE OF THEATRE AND PERFORMANCE ART AND WELL-CRAFTED SCRIPT AND BEAUTIFULLY SUNG SONGS; A PERFORMANCE OF MASTERY”. ★★★★★ Mark Calvert (Mumble) “ALETIA UPSTAIRS IS A SPECTACULAR PERFORMANCE ARTIST.” ✭✭✭✭✭ James O’Brien (Edinburgh Festival.org)
