Dj Food: Live A/v Show

On Saturday the 2nd of August at Faith In Strangers, audible curation specialists, Bahnhof, are back with a bang, hosting a very special night down on the coast.
DJ Food (aka Strictly Kev), will be blessing the eyes and ears of those present, with an A/V set, inspired by the music of Boards of Canada.
Originally conceived during the pandemic in 2020, this set has been played only a handful of times at festivals and a few special events.
Strictly Kev was an integral part to the golden era of the much loved record label Ninja Tunes, providing the label with many of their most beautiful designs, and releasing his own productions under the DJ Food moniker. His productions have been remixed by Squarepusher, Autechre, Luke Vibert to name but a few.
Kev was also the co-founder of the legendary Telepathic Fish parties that he started putting on in the 90s with Mira Calix, Mario Aguera and David Vallade. Whilst spinning records at these parties with (soon to be) musical legends such as Aphex Twin & Mixmaster Morris.
Support set comes from Margate's Ben Sun - making records with groovy labels like Razor-N-Tape, Phonica and Cyphon- he's an intrepid frequency explorer and collector of fine music - and he'll be bringing his lush Condesa, for the most pleasurable aural experience.

Bahnhof is the live arm of the experimental label run by Stuart Metcalfe, called Rail Cables- which featured artists from all over the world creating music inspired by train travel.
