Drift by Pui-Ka Cheng

Have you ever felt lost, far away from home?
How long has it been since you left?
Do you still long for where you came from, or are you still searching for the place where you belong?
Drift is a story of the past, present, and future. Three generations of women caught in a current of fate: the ripples caused by her mother's passage, to her own journey, and the path yet to be taken by her daughter.
Like a fish drifting through water, she moves as if led by something greater.
Drift weaves together live music, video, puppetry, physical theatre and dance to tell a mesmerising story about identity, memory, and belonging.
Commissioned by Lowry and Horizons Collective and supported by New Earth Theatre. Funded by Arts Council England.
