As one of Turkey’s biggest pop stars and a defining name across the SWANA region, EDIS is set to make his first major push into Europe in November 2026.
Born in London and raised in Izmir, Edis Görgülü is now a household name from Istanbul to the Gulf, with over a billion YouTube views, multiple number-one hits, and major accolades including Best Male Artist at the Golden Butterfly Awards. A Vogue Turkey cover star, he stands among the most influential pop artists in the region. His 2021 single Martılar became one of Turkey’s most-streamed songs of the year. His 2025 album Bachi-Bouzouk has since extended his reach across the region and his arena shows in Istanbul and beyond have long drawn crowds that go well beyond Turkey’s borders. Last summer he performed at Dua Lipa’s Sunny Hill Festival.
Turkish artists are reaching global audiences at an unprecedented scale, with international streams grow ing rapidly over the past decade. As streaming continues to break down language barriers, non-English music is becoming more exportable than ever. The question is no longer whether a Turkish pop artist can break globally, but who will do it next, and when.
EDIS is the answer most likely to happen first. This European run, through some of the continent’s finest mid-capacity rooms, is a rare chance to be early. Come November, the crowd will not be exclusively Turk ish. This and performance music doesn’t require translation.
Presented by Live Nation.
