What will you learn on this course?
This course introduces learners to a modern form of etching that involves using electric current to engrave images in to metal.
Etching is a drawing process that dates back to the 14th century, originally used to create designs on armour and jewellery. Normally this is carried out through a process of very harmful chemicals that would require specialist equipment. However, Electro-etching uses low voltage to etch your drawings and is completely safe!
A simple, visual and rewarding process that, once learnt, you could even do at home.
