Writers have always drawn inspiration from the natural world. In this workshop we will look at examples of nature writing in fiction and memoir and consider how the depiction of wildlife, landscape and weather can create mood. We will contemplate our changing world and whether we should all, as writers, be addressing the impact of climate change on our planet. Author Elizabeth Delo will guide you through a series of exercises to explore your relationship with nature and describe the physical world around you. Everyone welcome. No previous writing experience needed. Please bring your own pen and paper/writing pad if you can.
