Josef Triebensee: (1772 - 1846). Bohemian composer and oboist, Josef was a member of the Austrian Emperors Wind Band, and principal oboist at the National Theatre of Vienna. He succeeded Weber as Director of Prague Opera.
Wenzl Sedlak: (1776 - 1851). A composer and clarinettist was active in wind music in Vienna during the early part of the nineteenth century. He was best known for his transcriptions of famous opera scores for the wind ensemble in which he played. Roger Hellyer, in Grove, mentions works based on Auber, Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti and Weber, and the most famous of them, Fidelio. Beethoven seems to have approved of the arrangement.
