English Teacher are a British music group from Leeds and Lancashire playing indie rock, who formed in 2020.

They consist of vocalist Lily Fontaine, guitarist Lewis Whiting, drummer Douglas Frost, and bassist Nicholas Eden.

They won the Mercury Prize for their debut album This Could Be Texas, in 2024, a year which saw them play numerous international shows, including at Glastonbury Festival, and support IDLES on their US tour.
