Ensemble Hesperi is a dynamic, innovative Early Music group with a passion for Baroque
music. Their imaginative and distinctive programme, A Gift for your Garden,
celebrates the Baroque composer Georg Philipp Telemann, his horticultural friendships
and the joy to be found in the giving and receiving of flowers. It includes one of his Paris
Quartets and works by his correspondents - George Frideric Handel, Johann Gottlieb Graun
and James Oswald.
The ensemble features regularly on Radio 3s The Early Music Show, has recorded in studio
for Classic FM and performs at leading festivals across the UK and Europe.
