The Wee Scottish Big Band is acclaimed as one of the "Hottest Big Bands around ". Based in Glasgow and led by the Bulgarian trumpeter Angel Milev who lives in Scotland for the last 20 years. The band was formed in 2019 and performs regularly around Scotland at theatres, festivals, venues and events. The Wee Scottish Big Band performs with variety of vocalists - male and female, regularly having guests soloists with the band - Bruce Adams, Ryan Quigley, Paul Towndrow, Konrad Wiszniewski, Fergus Hetherington to name a few. The repertoire consists from the Swing Era to the very modern arrangements. From Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald to Buble and even Bjork, with the golden song selection. From Glenn Miller to Maynard Ferguson and even Jools Holland boogie woogies.
