Fusion Youth Dance Companyis Citymoves Dance Agency's flagship youth company. Based in Aberdeen, the company is for young dancers aged 12-18. Fusion works with a variety of choreographers and regularly performs on stage and outdoors. Recently, the company has created pieces with All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre, Katie Armstrong, Rosie Mackley and Dawn Hartley, and worked with Steven Martin to create a new outdoor piece for Spectra! Since 2021, Fusion has choreographed and premiered new work for WayWORD Festival, Doric Dwams Dance, choreographed by Rosie Mackley, Whale Songs, choreographed by Taylor Han, and 2024's collaboration with Spectrum Ensemble, choreographed by Lauren Smith. Spectrum Ensemble are The University of Aberdeens new music ensemble. They are student led, and together they work to develop and premiere student compositions, offering opportunities for composition students at Aberdeen to hear their music come to life.
