This relaxed, mainly seated, dance workshop designed for those 65+ will take you on a trip around the world, taking in the distinctive music and movement influences of each country. The class is open to all abilities and dances can be adapted to suit individual’s circumstances, whether that is living with a long-term condition or disability, rehabilitating after illness or trauma, pre or post-surgery, wheelchair users and those with limited mobility - or just because you would enjoy dancing at a gentler pace. Led by tutor Marie Oldaker. No previous dance experience necessary. Please consult your doctor if you have any concerns regarding your fitness to participate.
