This is a new adaptation of the timeless children's story A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett, whose other books include The Secret Garden. Set in 1905, it tells the story of Sara Crewe, a little girl whose spirit, imagination and strength of character carry her through the tragedy of finding herself orphaned and at the mercy of the terrifying headmistress of her boarding school.
This heart-warming production is led by Shoreham Village Players' junior group, the Hamsters, ably supported by a full cast of adult players.
It is going to be a great big, magical family show.
