New Lands brings Ivy House stalwart Sam Gowans back to its iconic stage with his exciting new project 'Global Cowboys'. Alongside the new emo-folk band on the scene, Rope Burn. It's going to be a night to remember. Don't miss it.

Global Cowboys is a new project by Sam Gowans. Crafted in secret studio and home recording sessions, the Cowboys draw from influences in the janglier categories of 20th Century guitar music alongside the sound worlds of Eno and Television. Above all else, Global Cowboys guitar-led compositions aim to explore, in equal measure, the hopeful and the forlorn.

Rope Burn is an alternative/slowcore/post-rock inspired quintet featuring trumpet and banjo based in London. The group hails from Ireland and the UK with songs that spill into each other to make a cohesive and fluid set with all members singing. Ropeburn pulls influences from Caroline, Alex G and American Football whilst featuring members from Blood Wizard, Kissing on Camera, Baggio and Bog Band.
