Learn the basics of the art of graphic design using Adobe Photoshop
What will you learn on this course?
This is an introductory course for anyone interested in graphic design and wishing to learn techniques to create their own visual communication and digital designs such as flyers and logos.
You will learn a basic introductory level of how to use software most used by graphic designers, Adobe Photoshop, to create your own professional looking visual communication including logo designs, posters, flyers, banners, business cards, and other design projects.
Lessons will cover a variety of topics including:
• Basic principles of design
• Introduction to typography
• Logo design
• Basic principles of layout
• Basic photo editing in Photoshop
• Colour and image in digital media
• If time allows, the opportunity to work with a Wacom or Xpen artist graphic tablet
By the end of the course, you will confident to start creating your own design projects using Adobe Creative Software Photoshop.
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for adults aged 18+ years. It is designed for beginners and improvers looking to refresh and improve their skills. Basic computing skills are required

Please bring a 32GB USB stick or external hard drive so that you can take your work home
