Whether you're a home baker, cake artist, or just love a good sponge, this is your moment to shine. From Parkin-inspired showstoppers to Yorkshire rose fondant creations, all skill levels are welcome.
Prizes to be won
Photo ops, stalls, and plenty of sweet treats
Register to celebrate Yorkshire Day in the most delicious way possible!
We will run two categories this year and welcome entries in the form of cakes, bakes, cupcakes, biscuitswe just ask that you avoid using fresh cream that requires refrigeration, in case of hot weather.
Go for the:
1. Yorkshire Show Stopper (let your imagination run wild!)
2. Yorkshire's Finest (Think Yorkshire Parkin, Fat Rascals, Yorkshire Curd Tart, Yorkshire Tea Loaf)
All bakes will be available to taste by the public after the judging, we encourage donations to the Friends of Oakwell Hall who will be helping to facilitate the competition.

The competition is free to enter
Register by Wednesday 29th July
There will be a first prize and highly commended.
Cakes must be dropped of to the Barn at Oakwell between 10:00 and 11:00am on Sunday 2nd August.
Please provide an ingredients list for your entry
Judging will be announced by our panel, and entries made available to sample by the public following the judging. We encourage donations to the Friends of Oakwell Hall who will be helping to facilitate the competition.
More details will be supplied on car parking and access will be provided closer to the event date.
