Greenock Players Present - An Evening of One Acts

Greenock Players present an evening of one-act theatre featuringIf This Is a StorybySean A. McLaughlanandThe BenchbyK.R. McAllister.
In If This Is a Story, an inspirational teacher and a doofus student discover they may be nothing more than players in a scripted reality. As their world begins to unravel, they must decide whether to fight the writer or accept the happy ending that has been created for them.
The Bench follows Joe, who is in crisis and finds a few minutes of peace each day alone on an isolated bench. But for Sandy, the bench is a memorial to his late Maggie a shrine to his loss. As both men try to claim purpose and meaning over the same space, a quiet conflict of passive aggression begins.
Together, these two plays offer comedy, conflict and reflection, asking what it means to find control, comfort and purpose in a world that does not always feel safely our own.
