Their dream is to share the inspirational life of Johannes Gutenberg - through the medium of a full scale, cast of thirty, Broadway Musical. The trouble is, at tonights rehearsed reading for a room of Broadway Producers, theres just Bud, Doug, and a mountain of hats. Spare Room Theatre was founded in 2014 by three friends, who took it upon themselves to show off a bit around the South West. The team have won some awards and had some really very nice feedback about the stuff they do mostly from their mums. Join us for a very silly night of meta- theatricality, expect some disastrous harmonies, a whirlwind of historical inaccuracies, and enough fourth-wall breaks to build a new stage. Witness the birth of Gutenberg! The Musical! (or at least, a hilariously flawed version of it). Please note that there is a theatre restoration levy of 1.50 per ticket. This levy applies to all transactions, whether made in person at our Box Office, by post or by phone, for all payment types. The Rondo opens half an hour before the start of each show.
