Hagio-Harvest by Alima Askew
A solo show by visual and performance artist Alima Askew, exhibiting work that dreams around the theme of ‘the harvest’ and what may exist on the other side of the field.
Opening night & performance
Friday 6th Sept, 6-9PM
General viewing 7th - 12th Sept
We invite you to take inspiration from Alima Askew’s ambient exploration of the harvest. Take your time to ingest your surroundings through drawing, painting and contribute to the creative feast.
Find your way to Sett Studios for a warming evening of life drawing. Immerse yourself amongst the dreamy soundscapes, uncanny ruralness and the unnerving serenity of a field just before harvest. Find Aimée McCallum modelling amongst Alima Askew’s immersive installation and costume.
Bring your own paper, drawing materials and something to lean on.
(limited drawing materials will be supplied)
All abilities are welcomed but there will be no tutor.
