hame. teeth. CEILIDH
time fur a wee ceilidh!

Come down and join us fur a wee dance with the Waterchorus all for a good cause - our fringe fundraiser. After a successful ceilidh last spring with The Water chorus at the Ivy House in Nunhead, we thought we'd throw another ceilidh to help us raise funds for our fringe show. Join us for a night of Strip The Willow, Gay Gordons and so much more!

About our Fringe show

"Every weekend has been the same for the past six months, and Morgan Shields wouldn't change it for a fcking thing. Currently thrilled to be at a loss for direction and lacking in motivation, Morgan finds herself every weekend at Dalkeith Miners Club without fail. It's the place to be. Every Saturday night. haim. teeth. CLUB. is a visceral darkly comedic one-woman play that places a working class Scottish young woman at the centre of her own narrative as a living, breathing, contradictory person."

this is Kari Halls fringe debut brought to you by Iona Bremner Productions and Slinte! Theatre - directed by Jessie Wren-Jacobs. "hame. teeth. club" is a recipient of the fringe society's "Keep it Fringe Award".

About Slinte! Theatre

Slinte! Theatre is a London-based emerging theatre company which aims to tell authentic stories from Margialnised Celtic Voices. We want to bring more authentic voices to London Theatre in terms of both the work we create and the creatives we work with. We have been running scratch nights, cabarets, poetry and monologue nights amongst other nights for three years. We want to create a network celtic creatives in London, and to nurture a community of Celtic artists.

About the Water Chorus

The Water Chorus started life around the folk clubs of London after the pandemic and have since become a mainstay of the capitals youthful folk revival. With a rich combination of four voices, fiddles, banjos, guitars, bouzoukis and concertinas, they play folk music that ranges from the raucously celebratory to the eerily affecting. Punky, upbeat arrangements re-discover the joy and energy in folk music, whilst atmospheric re-imaginings of almost-forgotten ballads find humour and absurdity in stories from our shared history.
