The Echoing Air [https://www.theechoingair.com] and Music for Awhile return to Bruton for a third time to present their intimate chamber performance of Handels great work, Messiah.
The Echoing Air [https://www.theechoingair.com], a vocal ensemble of eight singers, will sing both the choruses and solos, accompanied by the instrumental ensemble Music for Awhile, a quartet of baroque string players, a harpsichordist and a trumpeter. The ensemble will be led by internationally renowned violinist Maggie Faultless.

December 19th 2025, St Marys Church, Bruton, 6pm. Early Bird tickets 13, Second Release (19/10) 15, Tickets on the door 20. Advanced booking is encouraged.

Doors open at 5.15pm. There will be no interval. 1.5hrs running time. (Please note that this is an abridged version of the piece with significant cuts.)

Refreshments will beavailable beforehand and during the performance.

There will be a retiring collection for St Mary's Church.

The seating is unreserved, in pews, so you may wish to bring a cushion. The heating will be on but please dress to be warm and comfortable. Please note there are currently no facilities in the church. The nearest toilet is on the high street At the Chapel.
