Hannah Elizabeth and Griff Jameson first joined forces in 2016, merging their individual backgrounds of traditional folk and folk pop/rock to create a stunning acoustic folk-roots duo Elizabeth & Jameson, with original songs rich in emotive storytelling and a harmony-driven sound featuring guitar, violin and exquisite vocals. Elizabeth & Jameson are currently based in St. Albans where Hannah grew up, but with an ever growing national following, their schedule of live shows sees them frequently touring folk and acoustic clubs, festivals and venues across the UK. In 2024 they even branched out to Nashville, performing a few shows in Music City itself! Their debut studio album, Northern Shores & Stories was released in 2020, receiving critical acclaim across the acoustic folk-roots community. This concert marks the start of the duo's album release tour for their much anticipated second studio album, with material inspired by South Wales Valleys where Griff is from. With songs and stories themed around the history, the people and the place including our own personal links to the area of course, expect a very special evening of poignant new material shared in the beautiful sonic surroundings of St. Saviour's. Support will be provided by Awake Mother a new duo from the south of England. Minnie Birch and Kathleen P, two award winning, critically acclaimed musicians have joined together to present something new and special in the folk tradition. They are keen to share music from the folk tradition, reigniting old favourites and introducing you to new songs and tales from times gone by. Expect to be invited to sing and stomp along one moment and have your heart strings pulled the next.
