Blowers and Bly reunited. Antique dealer and Antiques Roadshow legend John Bly and Test Match Special’s longest-serving commentator, Henry Blofeld, start their second innings at Cadogan Hall this March.

Two of the linchpins of these iconic programmes will be letting down their few remaining hairs as they reminisce. Arthur Negus, the doyen of the Roadshow, was as redolent of the West Country as John Arlott was of Hampshire.

Bly shares his life in antiques, from grandmother’s knee to American museums, with tales of the trade, television and the auctioneers’ rostrum, while Blowers tries to keep up with Arlott’s passion for red wine and Brian Johnston’s skilful twitch of the tongue when it came to making puns. And so much else besides.
