To celebrate Heritage Open Days, you'll have the chance to visit areas of Stourhead House usually closed to visitors including the attic and basement storerooms, the formal showrooms are not usually included. The tour involves climbing up and down many staircases – please contact the property directly if you have any access concerns. On the day of your tour please check-in at visitor reception to show your membership card or purchase admission tickets and confirm your arrival. The tours start from the exhibition space in the basement of Stourhead House – this is an approximately 10-minute walk from the main car park / visitor reception so please allow plenty of time
