Home Education Day - Mosque and Cathedral

This day includes a visit to Rose Lane Mosque to hear from a Muslim colleague about how worship happens at the Mosque, about the pillars of Islam and about Hajj. There will be a chance to see the Mosque and to ask questions. We will introduce this back at the Cathedral and walk to and from the Mosque together with the group. NB. children will be asked to take shoes off in order to visit the Mosque and adult females encouraged to cover their heads as a mark of respect.
The day is aimed at ages 7-13 and includes lots of hands-on activities as well as ideas to continue your learning at home.
This day runs 10am-1pm (with a short snack break) and costs 4.50 per child.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
