Bees have been buzzing around planet Earth for over 100 million years! And when people came along, humans discovered just how helpful bees could be to our own interests.

In this home education workshop designed for children aged 5+ we will:

explore how bees were useful to the people who lived and worked at Pontefract Castle in medieval times
consider the importance of bees at the castle - and in the wider world - today
