Home Educated children aged 10+ will learn about the coins that were used as currency in Ancient Roman times, discover how helpful coins can be to archaeologists when they are investigating the past, hold some real Roman coins in their hands, and hear an intriguing tale of currency copying in Roman Castleford! Clay coin casts will be made to take home. This session is delivered in partnership with the Community & Family Learning Team at Wakefield Councils Adult Education Service.
