From real-life mysteries to political milestones, and famous visitors to locals who left the area to lead incredible lives elsewhere, Pontefract and the surrounding towns and villages have a rich history full of intriguing, exciting, amusing and often unexpected stories.

In this home education workshop designed for children aged 5+ we will:

go on a scavenger hunt around Pontefract Castle
uncover clues and reveal some of the most surprising stories from the locality's past
