Curtain Up 7.30pm Life could be hard during the Second World War, but the songs, radio programmes, films and comedy of the era kept up the spirits of those on the home front. Homefront Wedding at Woodford Players recreates the era for your enjoyment. You will watch a famous scene from a film, be in the audience at a radio play and sing-a-long to songs of the era. The show concludes with an invitation to a wedding. This show is being performed by members of Woodford Players but WE NEED FULL AUDIENCES to help us out with the singing. Perhaps youd like to dress up in your favourite 1940s look from Air Raid Wardens to Nurses to the Military or maybe your favourite dance dress and shoes to go to the local hop.
