From London via Portsmouth, five-piece Hotel Lux are influenced less by bands and more by the world around them, and the film works of Shane Meadows. Hotel Lux design a landscape of council flats, riots, Job Centre Plus and pints of Guinness, whilst their music lends itself to social commentary and picking holes in those who deserve it.
