Hunter Muskett is an acoustic/electric 4-piece playing distinctive original songs in a folky, bluesy sometimes Americana vein.
Originally formed in 1969 they played at home and abroad until 1974 producing two, now collectable, albums: Every Time You Move with bassist Danny Thompson and the Keith Relf produced Hunter Muskett with drummer Michael Giles
Band member Doug Morter went on to carve out a career as the 'go-to' vocalist/guitarist of the folk-rock scene. Dubbed 'The invisible man of folk-rock' by Acoustic Magazine Doug currently duets with US guitar ace Jerry Donahue and fronts the late John Martyn's band 'Then Came The Wheel'.
Since reforming in 2010 Hunter Muskett now tours again when schedules permit. A album of new material That Was Then This Is Now was released in 2013 and a latest CD produced by Spencer Cozens is scheduled for June 2016
