Hush

Hush is a new kind of live event where music and meditation flow together as one immersive experience.
Performances by 4 distinct artists-Steve Gunn, anaiis, Loula Yorke and Ghuraba-will interweave with short guided meditations led by Zoe Shobrook-Fisher of The Mindfulness Project, creating space for reflection, presence and connection.
Rather than treating meditation and music as separate activities, Hush explores the idea that attentive listening can itself become a form of meditation. Moments of stillness sit alongside moments of musical intensity, allowing audiences to fully immerse themselves in the sound, the atmosphere and the shared experience of the room.
Set within the intimate surroundings of EartH Theatre, Hush offers a rare opportunity to step away from distraction and experience an evening of music, meditation and mindful listening-designed to leave you feeling both grounded and inspired.
More about the artists:
Steve Gunn
Steve Gunn has been at the vanguard of American experimental and guitar-oriented rock music for over a decade. His most recent album Daylight Daylight is a shining, shimmering diamond, every song an exercise in sweet, melodic restraint. "The moon is hanging like a friend" he sings in one sublime moment during the song A Walk. Pure Hush.
anaiis
The French-Senegalese singer-songwriter's genre-defying songs blend elements of R&B, indie and soul into a sound that feels entirely her own. Her most recent album Devotion and the Black Divine feels like a conversation with the natural world, our inner selves, and the power of recognising one’s own divinity. anaiis draws from the collective consciousness and that depth rests on a growing sense of homecoming. Not to a place, but to the self.
Loula Yorke
Loula Yorke is an award-winning composer, sound artist and modular synthesist. With her custom-built wide-frequency analogue modular synthesiser, she creates deep trance-inducing sounds at the intersection between rave, minimalism and drone. Her sets explore movement and psychoacoustics: the way systems loop and feed back; melodies stretch like waking limbs; arpeggios ripple and fold, while circuits glint and return, changed.
Ghuraba
Ghuraba is a boundary-defying duo weaving an immersive tapestry of globally-infused sounds.Ethereal sonic journeys, conjured through an electric guitar dripping with psychedelia andthe soulful resonance of ancient traditional instruments, such as the Daf, Ney and Ocean Drum. Together, they create a one-of-a-kind fusion that guides listeners into realms unexplored.
