Acclaimed singer, songwriter and balladeer. Huw Chiswell is a Welsh musician and actor. He came into prominence in 1986 with his debut album Rhywbeth o’i le. During the following years he grew as a performing artist both as a single voice with piano and accompanied by a powerful band with a prominent brass section. His own piano playing was always a central feature, sometimes lyrical, sometimes brilliantly aggressive. Huw Chiswell’s hits have included Y Cwm, Rhywbeth O’i Le and Nos Sul A Baglan Bay. He is joined by Mold’s community choir CÔR Y PENTAN. CÔR Y PENTAN is a mixed community choir which has been singing in Mold for over a quarter of a century.
