Support is provided by Rakel, rising star of the Icelandic Music Scene.

Rakel works with song, memory, and atmosphere. Her music weaves together voice, field recordings, and subtle textures into compositions that feel both intimate and expansive.

Her debut album a place to be (2025, OPIA Community), created in collaboration with Danish producer Sara Flindt, marked a defining moment in her work. The album unfolds as part diary, part landscape, shaped by the acoustics of real places, from her family's farm in Iceland to bedrooms and studios across Copenhagen and Reykjavík. Birds, breath, creaking floors and soft electronics coexist in a detailed and immersive sonic world.

The album received widespread critical acclaim and earned nominations for Album of the Year and Song of the Year at the Icelandic Music Awards. In 2026, RAKEL was awarded Performer of the Year, further establishing her as a distinctive and compelling live artist.
