Jamie Bartlett: How to Talk to AI (And How Not To) - Friday 8th May 2026 at 7.30pm
In association with The Yellow Lighted Bookshop Tetbury

Almost overnight, AI-powered chatbots like ChatGPT, are transforming society, politics and business. Every day, hundreds of millions of people use chatbots to organise their finances, plan their holidays, seek therapy or find love. But as some people use it to turbo-charge their productivity, others are falling into dangerous conspiracies, delusions and psychosis.

Award-winning writer Jamie Bartlett takes you inside the machine: showing how it works and how we can make the most of our powerful new companions, even as they are changing the way we live, feel, and think.

Written in his accessible style, How to Talk to AI is the essential and empowering guide to harnessing the potential of one of the biggest and fastest technological changes in history.
